On GREE: Bandai Namco’s Gundam Masters Hits 1 Million Users [Social Games]

Bandai Namco announced [PDF] that one of their titles on GREE, Gundam-based Sci-Fi social game Gundam Masters, has hit 1 million registered users on October 3.

What’s interesting is that the game was released just on September 1, meaning it added an impressive 1,262 players per hour since then.

The Gundam game on Mobage, Gundam Royal, has well over 3 million users and needed just 6 days to rack up 1 million players after it launched in December 2010.

Bandai Namco is currently preparing a total of four social games for GREE to be released in the fall/winter this year. Last month, GREE competitor DeNA announced BDNA, a joint venture with Bandai Namco.
